HC Alkaloid Donates Computer Equipment to Krume Kepeski Elementary School in Skopje

By donating computer equipment to the Krume Kepeski Elementary School in Skopje, HC Alkaloid demonstrated its commitment to contributing to social responsibility activities in order to improve the proper development and quality education conditions for the young.

HC Alkaloid was established with the main goal of promoting the sport, supporting young handball talents and developing them into top players. Apart from the aspiration to provide a quality and advanced training process for young talents and develop them into top handball players, the club also advocates for a healthy lifestyle and quality education for the young.

Last year, the club put great focus on the youngest, by opening its own handball schools in Skopje and in several cities in Macedonia, which in the first season had over than 500 children. One of the club’s schools carried out its training in the sports hall of the Krume Kepeski Elementary School in Kisela Voda, wherefrom the idea arose of ​​donating computer equipment which will contribute to the improvement and advancement of the education conditions for pupils and the young.

The computer equipment consists of: 10 desktop computers complete with monitor, keyboard, mouse, headphones and camera; 3 laptops, 4 printers, 2 scanners, 6 monitors, 2 backpacks and 15 bags. In accordance with the school’s needs, the equipment is intended for furnishing the IT cabinet for the school pupils, which will enable quality realization of daily tasks and advancement of educational activities in the area of ​​IT education.

Goran Minov, President of HC Alkaloid, awarded the donation to Orce Gjorgjievski, Mayor of the Municipality of Kisela Voda.

When it comes to community relations, just being a good neighbour is not enough, we also need to be a good partner. By supporting various projects and through numerous activities, the club will continue its endeavours to contribute to the improvement of existing or to initiate new ways of giving back to our community in the area of ​​sports, healthy lifestyle, as well as in other fields for the proper development of society’s youngest.

Kiril Lazarov is Our Team’s New Coach

We officially appointed Kiril Lazarov as our team’s coach and promoted the eight new handball players who joined our handball family this summer.

At the press conference held at the DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel on August 23rd, the club president, Goran Minov, presented Kiril Lazarov and the new players to the media and spoke about the club’s goals for the new season.

Kiril Lazarov, Igor Gjorgiev – captain and Nikola Markoski – national team reinforcement, also spoke about their impressions, expectations and plans for the following season.

HC Alkaloid to Compete in New Belgrade Trophy

Our team continues with its preparations in order to reach full competitive shape for the matches in the upcoming Super League season. After the tournament in Struga, the next challenge for our senior team will be the tournament held in Belgrade, Serbia.

We will compete in the second New Belgrade Trophy, which will take place in SC Vozhdovac in Banjica, and this year the teams of HC Partizan Belgrade, HC Dinamo Pancevo and the Israeli club HC Hapoel Ashdod will participate.

The tournament will be played according to the round robin system, that is, each team will play against every other team.

In the first round on August 25th, we will play the HC Hapoel team, the next day we will face the HC Dinamo Pancevo team, and on August 28th, the last day of the tournament, we will play HC Partizan.

HC Alkaloid announced its participation in the new Super League season with a stronger player roster and a new coach. Rounding off its first season with exceptional results and an unbeaten run, the senior team won the First League winners’ cup by a large margin over the second-ranking team and secured direct placement in the Super League.

Right before the new 2022/2023 season, HC Alkaloid strengthened its team with 8 new players, among them: Jane Cvetkovski, Blagojche Trajkoski, Nikola Markoski, Mihajlo Mladenovic, Edvin Omeragic, Marko Mitev, David Dimevski and Aleksandar Petkovski.

Kiril Lazarov is the new coach of HC Alkaloid who is the greatest Macedonian handball ace and current head coach of the senior national team.

Standing strong before new challenges, including playing in the toughest competition, the Super League, HC Alkaloid is ready to start the new season with a purposefully modified stronger team, a firm ambition and clear focus on its development for the good of Macedonian handball. The club remains consistent to the principle of growth and development into a quality base for young Macedonian handball players, which in the long run would be a nursery for domestic handball talents and future Macedonian national team players.

One of the club’s development goals for the upcoming season is to continue upgrading its system established when the club was founded focusing on real sports as well as life values developed and encouraged in a properly organized and professional sports system.

HC Alkaloid completed its first season successfully at every organizational and category level. In addition to the successes of the senior team, the club’s youth team became the champion of Macedonia, the cadet team was a F4 finalist, and the pioneers reached the quarter-finals. It is particularly important that the club managed to assemble a team of young Macedonian handball players, to whom it provided modern work conditions, and which contributed to the increase of the representative base in all age categories.

We Start the Championship Away by Playing HC Prilep.

The draw that determined the Super League groups has been the basis for setting the next season’s competition plan.

The championship will start on 3-4 September, and the first part will end on December 17-18. After fourteen rounds, the competition will continue in playoff and playout groups.

HC Alkaloid will play its first Super League game away against HC Prilep. In the second round, our club will again play away against YHC Kumanovo. We will play our first home game on September 17-18 in the third round against HC Ohrid.

HC Alkaloid to Play in Super League Group A

In a semi-directed draw, taking the previous season’s rankings into account, the Macedonian Handball Federation (MHF) has established the Super League groups for the 2022/2023 season.

In the coming season, the Macedonian Super League will have 16 teams divided into two groups of eight. After the 14th round, the teams will split again. The best four of each group will play in the playoffs, deciding on the new champion and the next season’s European Cup participants. The teams finishing fifth to eighth in the first part will play in the playouts to stay in the league.

HC Alkaloid will play in Group A, together with HC Vardar 1961, HC Butel Skopje, HC Ohrid, HC Struga, HC Prilep, YHC Kumanovo, and HC Vardar Negotino.

HC Eurofarm Pelister, HC Eurofarm Pelister 2, HC Tinex Prolet 62, HC Tikvesh, HC Radovish, HC Golden Art, HC Skopje 2020 and HC Junior Kisela Voda will play in Group B.
