HC Alkaloid wrapped up the 2025 season with a victory, defeating city rivals HC Butel Skopje away in the 18th round, the final league fixture of the year.

HC Alkaloid made an excellent start to the match, applying strong pressure on the hosts and racing to a 4-0 lead within the opening five minutes.

A period of balance followed, but HC Alkaloid consistently maintained control, holding a three-to-five-goal advantage (8-3, 10-6, 13-8) and recording their biggest lead of the first half at 17-10 in the 25th minute.

At halftime, HC Alkaloid led 18-12. In the second half, the home side came out more aggressively and managed to cut the deficit to 17-21, but the visitors quickly responded, restoring a comfortable cushion at 25-19. From that point until the final whistle, HC Alkaloid controlled the tempo and the scoreboard, securing their 13th league win of the season.

Going into the match as clear favourites, HC Alkaloid lived up to expectations at the Riste Risteski Richko sports hall, although the hosts delivered a spirited and competitive first-half performance. HC Alkaloid controlled the tempo and the scoreboard, but the margin remained narrow throughout the opening 30 minutes, with the visitors holding a steady two-to-four-goal advantage.

At halftime, HC Alkaloid led 19-16. The turning point came at the start of the second half, when HC Alkaloid produced a decisive 5-0 run to stretch the lead to 24-16. From that moment on, the gap remained between six and eight goals, until the final score at 33-39.

HC Alkaloid delivered a commanding performance against HC Radovish, sealing a convincing win by a 20-goal margin (45-25) at the Avtokomanda Arena in Skopje and recording their tenth win of the league campaign.

Missing several regular first-team players, Alkaloid gave valuable minutes to players from the extended roster. The changes had no negative impact on the match outcome.

The visitors managed to keep pace during the opening ten minutes, but HC Alkaloid soon took control, gradually building a comfortable advantage to a 23-15 lead at halftime.

In the second half, physical preparedness came to the fore, the margin continued to grow steadily, and the match ended with a dominant 20-goal victory.

In the next round, HC Alkaloid will face an away challenge against HC Prilep.

HC Alkaloid and HC Eurofarm Pelister split the points for the second time this season in their head-to-head derby encounters.

Tonight in Bitola, as part of Round 14 of the Super League, HC Alkaloid showed character and quality, battling relentlessly until the final second to secure a dramatic 26-26 draw and return home with a valuable point.

Spurred on by a packed crowd at the Boro Churlevski arena, the hosts opened the match with a 6-3 lead, but HC Alkaloid quickly responded with their own strengths. A solid transition game from defense to attack, backed by goalkeeper Marko Kizikj, who had an excellent start, and Igor Gjorgiev, who converted five of Alkaloid’s next seven goals without a miss, restored balance on the scoreboard that lasted until the 20th minute.

A series of missed chances by HC Alkaloid then allowed the home side to build a lead of up to five goals (17-12), and the teams headed into halftime with Eurofarm Pelister in front, 17-13.

The pattern from the closing stages of the first half carried into the opening 10 minutes after the break. HC Alkaloid again struggled to beat the home goalkeeper on several occasions, and by the 40th minute, the hosts had stretched their advantage to its maximum at 23-16.

HC Alkaloid, however, showed resilience and composure, refusing to crack under the pressure of the euphoric atmosphere and the hosts’ surge, with the momentum beginning to shift steadily in their favor.

Goalkeeper Ivan Galevski played a crucial role in the minutes that followed, while pivot Marko Stojkovic delivered an outstanding performance and finished as Alkaloid’s top scorer. Still, it was the team effort that made the difference: the defense shut down the lanes, the offense found its rhythm after 10 minutes, and Martin Serafimov’s goal in the 40th minute for 22-24 dragged HC Alkaloid firmly back into the points race.

The match built to a dramatic finish, with attacks at both ends frequently resulting in seven-meter throws. In those decisive moments, Martin Serafimov and Ivan Galevski rose to the occasion. Serafimov remained flawless, while Galevski saved two of the three penalties awarded in the final three minutes, including a match-saving stop with just four seconds remaining at a level score.

The encounter carried added weight for the hosts, as Nikola Kosteski made his comeback to the lineup after a several-month layoff, marking a successful return from injury.

HC Alkaloid took control early, surging to a four-goal cushion after just eight minutes (7-3). The hosts, however, failed to build on that momentum, falling into a spell of errors and going eight minutes without scoring. CHC Tikvesh took full advantage, staging a complete comeback and, with a 6-0 run, turning the score around to 9-7 in their favor. A swift reaction brought HC Alkaloid back on level terms at 9-9, but consistency continued to fluctuate, and the contest settled into a goal-for-goal battle. At the break, HC Alkaloid edged ahead 14-13.

The second half saw our team turn to their strongest weapon – the fast break. A series of quick goals, sparked by solid defensive reactions, produced a commanding 21-15 lead by the 40th minute. From that point on, HC Alkaloid kept full control and avoided any late drama, unlike previous encounters with the same opponent at the Avtokomanda arena.

In the end, HC Alkaloid closed out the match with a nine-goal victory.
