HC Alkaloid secured their seventh win in the playoff championship with a 28-22 away victory against HC Tinex Prolet.

After falling behind 2-1 early in the game, our team took control and led 4-2, 7-4, and 10-6. Coach Kiril Lazarov gave more playing time to non-starters, including goalkeeper Ivan Galevski, defenders Damjan Mitev, David Savrevski, and Edvin Omeragic, point guard Marko Stojkovic, and winger Aleksandar Stojkov, who all took advantage of the opportunity. Despite the home team’s attempts to close the gap, HC Alkaloid maintained a three-to-four goal lead throughout the first half, which ended 14-11 in our favour.

In the second half, our team built a four-goal lead (16-12), but HC T. Prolet managed to tie the game at 20-20 before HC Alkaloid regained control, scoring eight goals while only conceding two to finish with a final score of 28-22.

Before the match, HC T. Prolet’s management presented a thank-you card to our handball player Ivan Dzonov, who transferred from HC T. Prolet to our club during the winter transfer period. With this victory, HC Alkaloid now has 24 points, 12 more than GHC Ohrid, whom we will face on Friday at “Avtokomanda”.
