HC Alkaloid wrapped up the 2025 season with a victory, defeating city rivals HC Butel Skopje away in the 18th round, the final league fixture of the year.
HC Alkaloid made an excellent start to the match, applying strong pressure on the hosts and racing to a 4-0 lead within the opening five minutes.
A period of balance followed, but HC Alkaloid consistently maintained control, holding a three-to-five-goal advantage (8-3, 10-6, 13-8) and recording their biggest lead of the first half at 17-10 in the 25th minute.

At halftime, HC Alkaloid led 18-12. In the second half, the home side came out more aggressively and managed to cut the deficit to 17-21, but the visitors quickly responded, restoring a comfortable cushion at 25-19. From that point until the final whistle, HC Alkaloid controlled the tempo and the scoreboard, securing their 13th league win of the season.
Up next on the handball calendar is the men’s senior national team. HC Alkaloid forms the backbone of the squad, and the selected players are expected to play a key role at the 2026 European Championship.
